Baseball Recap: Mountain View Comes Up Short

Mountain View and West Plains squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Mountain View had to settle for second. They lost 12-1 to the Wolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 on Thursday.

This is the second loss in a row for Mountain View and nudges their season record down to 14-17. As for West Plains, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-6-1 record this season.

Mountain View does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Plains, they have already played their next game, a 16-0 win against the Lobos on the 8th.
