Basketball Recap: St. Cloud Comes Up Short

St. Cloud's tournament run continued when they took on Titusville on Saturday. The Bulldogs took a blow against the Terriers, falling 54-22. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Titusville got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ki'Asia Carter out in front who shot 63% from the field to rack up 27 points in addition to six steals and five assists. That makes it six consecutive games in which Carter has scored at least a third of the Terriers' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Braniyah Brown, who posted seven points along with 23 rebounds and five blocks.

St. Cloud's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Titusville, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-4.

St. Cloud has already played their next game (against Cocoa), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Titusville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 55-39 victory against Merritt Island Christian on the 22nd.
