Volleyball Recap: Seven Straight Road Wins for Longmeadow

Longmeadow won the last time they faced Westfield and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Lancers blew past the Bombers 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-21, 25-13.

Caroline Croteau was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had seven aces and five digs. Those five digs gave her a new career-high.

Croteau wasn't the only good servers: Longmeadow was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Longmeadow's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-2. As for Westfield, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Longmeadow will challenge East Longmeadow at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Westfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
