Bear Creek came tearing into Wednesday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29 points), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Franklin Yellowjackets 34-13. Given the Bruins' advantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 175th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 594th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Siannah Rios had another great game (as she tends to do), throwing for 216 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 51 yards.

Bear Creek's win bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Franklin, their loss dropped their record down to 7-16.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Bear Creek will face off against rival Stagg at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Franklin is set to challenge their familiar foe Tokay at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
