Basketball Recap: Reeves Picks Up Sixth Straight Win on the Road

Reeves had won five straight road games and Carter Guillory did his part to make it six on Thursday. The Reeves Raiders blew past the Johnson Bayou Rebels, posting a 96-44 win thanks in part to Guillory, who went 11 of 23 on his way to 32 points and eight rebounds. Those 32 points gave him a new career-high.

The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Williams, who went 5 of 12 on his way to 12 points in addition to seven assists and four steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed four or more in the last four games he's played.

Reeves' victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Johnson Bayou, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Reeves will take on Welsh in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Johnson Bayou will take on Singer in a holiday battle at on Monday.
