Argonaut won the last time they faced Galt, and Mitchell Mcmahan did his part to make sure it happened again. The Argonaut Mustangs took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 77-44 win over the Galt Warriors thanks in part to Mcmahan, who dropped a double-double with 27 points and 11 boards. His evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points.

Another player making a difference was Zander Castro, who posted nine points along with six rebounds and four steals. That's the most boards he has posted since back in December of 2024.

Despite the defeat, Galt had strong showings from Anthony Rose-Garcia, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 16 points, and Carson Cagle, who went 6 for 12 en route to 14 points.

Argonaut has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season. As for Galt, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-24.

Argonaut didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 67-55 victory against Rosemont on the 11th. As for Galt, they have also already played their next contest, a 72-32 loss against Bradshaw Christian on the 10th.
