Basketball Game Preview: Bradford Railroaders vs. Mississinawa Valley Blackhawks

Bradford and Mississinawa Valley are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2016, but not for long. The Bradford Railroaders will challenge the Mississinawa Valley Blackhawks at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bradford is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Bradford ended up a good deal behind Arcanum and lost 57-41.

Meanwhile, Mississinawa Valley hadn't done well against Ansonia recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Mississinawa Valley walked away with a 52-42 win over Ansonia. The victory was some much needed relief for the Blackhawks as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Mississinawa Valley's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-7. As for Bradford, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.

Everything came up roses for Bradford against Mississinawa Valley in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as the squad secured a 71-39 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bradford since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
