Volleyball Recap: Silver Creek Takes a Loss

If Silver Creek was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Hill on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Raiders took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Prospect Panthers on Monday. The Raiders have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 23-25, 25-18, 25-13.

Silver Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 10-20. As for Prospect, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Silver Creek will head out to square off against Pioneer at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Raiders surely won't give up without a fight. As for Prospect, they will venture away from home to take on Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on a 16-game losing streak.
