Basketball Game Preview: Lewis & Clark Tigers vs. Moses Lake Mavericks

The Lewis & Clark Tigers will take on the Moses Lake Mavericks at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Lewis & Clark will be strutting in after a win while Moses Lake will be coming in after a loss.

Lewis & Clark took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 72-45 victory over Sunnyside. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 27 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Moses Lake played a tough contest last Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Ridgeline, falling 68-36. While losing is never fun, the Mavericks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 174th, while the Falcons are ranked 45th).

The win got Lewis & Clark back to even at 5-5. As for Moses Lake, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
