Basketball Game Preview: Brockway Rovers vs. Johnsonburg Rams

Brockway hasn't had much luck against Johnsonburg recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Brockway Rovers will host the Johnsonburg Rams at 7:30 p.m. After both made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.

Brockway will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating Ridgway, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. Brockway put the hurt on Ridgway with a sharp 53-31 victory on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rovers.

Meanwhile, Johnsonburg took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 54-26 win over Ridgway. The Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 26 points or more this season.

Johnsonburg is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Brockway, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-5.

Brockway took a serious blow against Johnsonburg in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, falling 66-24. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Brockway was down 39-15.
