High school football: Matayo Uiagalelei, Domani Jackson headline 2021 Preseason California MaxPreps All-State Team

Mater Dei, St. John Bosco dominate squad with 18 combined selections.

The Golden State is loaded with high school football talent. Four teams occupy spots in the MaxPreps Top 25 football rankings, including Nos. 1 and 3 Mater Dei and St. John Bosco, respectively.

And the Monarchs and Braves have the talent to back up those lofty rankings as the schools combine for 18 players on the Preseason California MaxPreps All-State Team.

Bruce Rollinson's bunch lands 10 selections on the team, led by five-star cornerback Domani Jackson, Oklahoma-bound running back Raleek Brown, recent Notre Dame commit CJ Williams and and four-star linebacker David Bailey.

Two-way standout Matayo Uiagalelei leads the St. John Bosco contingent along with four-star offensive lineman Earnest Greene and four-star running back Rayshon Luke.



Recent Arizona commit Zeke Berry represents No. 16 De La Salle (Concord) and Noah Fifita, Tetairoa McMillan, Keyan Burnett, Jacob Manu, Mason Graham and Michael Hurst were the six selections from No. 20 Servite (Anaheim).
