Volleyball Recap: Alliance Takes a Loss

Alliance was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the O'Neill Eagles.

While Alliance was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-20.

Addison Weber paced Alliance's offense, picking up six kills. Weber got some help from Brinlee Lanik and her nine assists. Ryli Poss controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Alliance's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for O'Neill, their win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 10-9.

Coincidentally, Alliance and O'Neill will both be playing Broken Bow the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
