Palatine entered their tilt with Deerfield on Saturday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Warriors. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Pirates also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2023.

The victory got Palatine back to even at 16-16. As for Deerfield, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-15.

Palatine is on the road again on Saturday to play St. Charles North at 2:30 p.m. As for Deerfield, they will take on Loyola Academy in a tournament on Saturday.
