Volleyball Preview: Lisle Lions vs. Streator Bulldogs
Lisle has been on the road for five straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will welcome the Streator Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Streator took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Lisle, who comes in off a win.
Last Saturday, Lisle was able to grind out a solid win over Berwyn/Cicero Morton, taking the game 2-0.
Lisle was dominant in the second set, but otherwise had just enough against a tough Berwyn/Cicero Morton squad. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-11.
Meanwhile, Streator came up short against St. Bede on Monday and fell 2-0. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
While Streator had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 13 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-13.
Lisle now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Streator, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6-2.
