Basketball Recap: Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

Laurel-Concord-Coleridge won the last time they faced Lutheran-Northeast, and Rena Rasmussen did her part to make sure it happened again. The Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Bears claimed a resounding 70-32 win over the Lutheran-Northeast Eagles thanks in part to Rasmussen, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 14 rebounds. She has been hot, having posted eight or more boards the last seven times she's played.

Another player making a difference was Lainey Schutte, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. Those 12 points gave her a new career-high.

When it comes to explaining why Lutheran-Northeast lost on Tuesday, don't look at Reagan Lewis. Despite the final result, she posted 14 points. Emerson Rose-Hancock was another key player, putting up six points.

Laurel-Concord-Coleridge is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.8 points per game. As for Lutheran-Northeast, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-15.
