Football Game Preview: Neshoba Central vs. Canton

Neshoba Central will be playing at home against Canton at at 7:00 PM on Friday. If the game is anything like the 42-41 finish from the last time they met, the scorekeeper will be kept real busy.

Last Friday, Neshoba Central put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They were the clear victor by a 68-42 margin over Vicksburg. Sophomore Jarquez Hunter was the offensive standout of the match for Neshoba Central, as he rushed for 208 yards and 3 touchdowns. Hunter has been a consistent playmaker for Neshoba Central as this was the 7th good game in a row from him.

Meanwhile, Canton received a tough blow as they fell 38-55 to Holmes County Central. It was a tough break for Canton, who improved upon an already decent score from two weeks ago but lost both times.

Neshoba Central's victory lifted them to 6-1 while Canton's loss dropped them down to 4-3. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Neshoba Central and Canton will really light up the scoreboard.
