Baseball Recap: Onaga Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Onaga waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Blue Valley Rams an 11-0 shutout. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 25-0 victory back in April.

Maddex Honas was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with six stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. He has become a key player for Onaga: the team is 6-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 3-9 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Cameron Kramer, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one double.

Onaga was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .389. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
