Kell waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Sonoraville Phoenix. That's more bragging rights for the Longhorns, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Their offense was headlined by Giordan Wardell and Kaylan Malcolm, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Gracie Barrett and her ten assists. Wardell and Barrett didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with four apiece.

Kell's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Sonoraville, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Kell didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Southeast Whitfield County on the 16th. As for Sonoraville, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Pickens on the 16th.
