Just 13 years old, Kiyaunta Goodwin would already be the second-largest member of the Wildcat football team.

See why Kentucky is excited about the kid they call "Syrup."

Kiyaunta Goodwin is a massive 6-foot-6, 350-pound offensive tackle who snagged his first Division I offer from the University of Kentucky last Friday.

Here's the kicker — he's entering eighth-grade! Goodwin will be attending Olmsted Academy North Middle School in Louisville, Ky., this fall.

And so begins the legend of the kid they call "Syrup."

Amazingly, the 13-year-old would already be the second-largest member of Kentucky's football team if he suited up for the Wildcats today.

And he may get even bigger.

Dan Koob of WLKY reported that Goodwin has been told by doctors he could grow to as tall as 7-foot-6.
Goodwin dwarfs the competition and showcases his superior strength and agility in the video above.

Chris Vaughn, Goodwin's trainer, played for the New Orleans Saints and owns Aspirations Fitness Institution in Jeffersonville, Ind., just across the Ohio River from Louisville. Vaughn says he has produced over 80 high-level Division I recruits in the last six years. He believes Goodwin could be the best one yet.

''He moves his feet extremely well for his size and is freakishly athletic," Vaughn said of the middle schooler who wears size 18 shoes. "His hands are enormous, and he's very strong. Once he gets his hands on you, it's over.

"He's still a raw talent with enormous upside. He also has members in his family as tall as 6-foot-10. The sky is truly the limit for him. You just don't see kids like Kiyaunta at his age."
