Basketball Game Preview: Parkrose Broncos vs. Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts Mustangs

Parkrose and Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2019, but not for long. It'll be an old-fashioned rodeo when the Parkrose Broncos challenge the Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts Mustangs at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Parkrose has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Parkrose is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took down Hillsboro 71-57 on Monday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Meanwhile, Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 66-61 heartbreaker at the hands of Putnam.

Parkrose's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

Parkrose couldn't quite finish off Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 and fell 74-71. Can Parkrose avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
