Volleyball Recap: Perquimans Starts off Right with Win over Washington

Perquimans had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Washington Pam Pack.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Perquimans was: they took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-12, 25-9.

Morgan Byrum paced Perquimans' offense, picking up 13 kills. Byrum got some help from Eleanor Howell and her ten assists. Kaydee Hunter controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Perquimans will challenge First Flight at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Washington, they will be playing at home against Northside - Pinetown at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
