Basketball Recap: Valley Christian Takes a Loss

After flying high against Lowellville last Saturday, Valley Christian came back down to earth. The Valley Christian Eagles took a 47-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinal Mooney Cardinals. The Eagles have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Valley Christian now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Cardinal Mooney, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Valley Christian will face off against Southern at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cardinal Mooney, they will square off against Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Memorial will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Cardinal Mooney surely won't give up without a fight.
