Softball Recap: Saginaw Takes a Loss

Saginaw was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 12-0 to the Fossil Ridge Panthers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 on Tuesday.

Saginaw's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Fossil Ridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Saginaw and Fossil Ridge will both be playing Granbury the next time they take the field. Fossil Ridge will host Granbury at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Saginaw will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
