Basketball Game Preview: Pueblo Central Wildcats vs. Lewis-Palmer Rangers

Having just played yesterday, the Pueblo Central Wildcats will get right back to it and host the Lewis-Palmer Rangers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Wednesday, Pueblo Central didn't have too much trouble with Mitchell as they won 42-24.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pueblo Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Rosalia Martinez, who posted 12 points. The dominant performance gave Martinez a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Sophia Perez, who had nine points.

Meanwhile, Lewis-Palmer posted their closest win since January 23rd on Tuesday. They skirted past Silver Creek 41-38. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rangers.

Lewis-Palmer pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Pueblo Central, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
