Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. John Lutheran). Everything went their way against the Ocala Christian Crusaders on Friday as the St. John Lutheran Saints made off with a 26-7 win. The Saints haven't had any issues with the Crusaders recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

St. John Lutheran got a massive performance out of Will Spellman, who scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances. Dalton Gill was another key player, scoring three runs while going 3-for-3.

St. John Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Ocala Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, St. John Lutheran will face off against Lake Weir at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. John Lutheran is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.2 runs per game this season. As for Ocala Christian, they are taking a road trip to square off against Countryside Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
