Basketball Game Preview: Kellis Cougars vs. Pueblo Warriors

The Kellis Cougars will square off against the Pueblo Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kellis will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Kellis is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They blew past Horizon 53-32. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 20 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Pueblo beat Campo Verde 68-63 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Kellis better keep an eye on America Cazares. She was instrumental in Pueblo's win, almost dropping a double-double with 31 points and nine rebounds. Cazares' big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 28 points. Another player making a difference was Sara Galindo, who posted 12 points in addition to five assists and three steals.

Kellis' record now sits at 28-4. As for Pueblo, their record is now 24-5.
