Football Game Preview: Livingston Wolves vs. Lathrop Spartans + How To Watch

The Livingston Wolves are taking a road trip to square off against the Lathrop Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Livingston is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They strolled past Central Valley with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 34-20. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Wolves considering their 13-point performance the matchup before.

Mathias Valencia went supernova, rushing for 155 yards and three touchdowns. Those 155 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Roberto Rivera, who rushed for 52 yards and a pair of scores on only seven carries.

Meanwhile, Lathrop came tearing into Thursday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 28-21 win over the Vikings.

Livingston's record now sits at 3-4. As for Lathrop, their record is now 6-1.

Things could have been worse for Livingston, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 28-10 loss to Lathrop in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Wolves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
