Milpitas had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Menlo-Atherton Bears by a score of 3-1 on Saturday. The victory was familiar territory for the Trojans, who have now won five matchups in a row.

Milpitas' win bumped their record up to 22-9. As for Menlo-Atherton, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 24-10 record.
