They came out on top in a nail-biter against the University School Preppers, sneaking past 11-9. Grove City's victory was all the more impressive since the Preppers were averaging only three runs allowed on the season.
As for University School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 21-5. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for they, who until this contest were averaging three runs allowed.
