Waskom (1-3) and Arp (1-2) take on one another this Friday at 7:30 PM on Waskom's home turf. Waskom dropped a decent lead last game -- we'll see if that pushes the squad to a win or puts them in a funk.
Last week, Waskom took on Bishop Gorman. Waskom's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 32 points in the first half. That put it at a 32 - 21 advantage. Unfortunately, Waskom's defense allowed 35 points in the second half, dropping the lead when it really counted. It coughed up its initial lead and lost 56 - 38. Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Arp beat Alto 28 - 21 two weeks ago.
