Basketball Recap: Lincoln Park Performing Arts Comes Up Short

Lincoln Park Performing Arts were dealt a 76-49 defeat at the hands of the Montour Spartans. Lincoln Park Performing Arts' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it six in a row.

It was another big night for Ama Tening Sow, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 19 boards for Montour. Sow is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least 12 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Colton Straight, who went 5 for 9 en route to 15 points.

Lincoln Park Performing Arts' defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Montour, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-1.

Lincoln Park Performing Arts will be taking part in a tournament against Quaker Valley at 4:30 p.m. on January 25th. As for Montour, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, an 81-64 victory against Mars on the 18th.
