Basketball Recap: Rocky Mountain Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Rocky Mountain, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They snuck past the Burlington Huskies with a 49-43 victory on Tuesday. The Grizzlies have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Huskies, too.

Rocky Mountain can attribute much of their success to Tucker Jackson, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten boards. Another player making a difference was Alex Hedges, who posted six points and six rebounds.

Rocky Mountain was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Rocky Mountain now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Burlington, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Rocky Mountain and Lyman will compete for holiday cheer at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. After both having extra time off, Burlington and Meeteetse will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
