Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask McKee Vo-Tech). They blew past Petrides, posting a 79-44 win. Given the Seagulls' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 323rd, while Petrides are ranked 665th), the result on Thursday wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory made it two in a row for McKee Vo-Tech and bumps their season record up to 9-4. As for Petrides, they dropped their record down to 3-10 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

McKee Vo-Tech wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 67-53 defeat against Percy Sutton on the 1st. Petrides has also already played their next game, a 68-63 win against Washington on the 1st.
