Soccer Game Preview: Atlantis vs. Cape Cod RVT

Cape Cod RVT will be up against a hot Atlantis squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Atlantis' defense stepped up to hand Sturgis East a 3-0 shutout on Monday. Atlantis might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Cape Cod RVT was not quite St. John Paul II's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. While losing is never fun, Cape Cod RVT can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 210th, while St. John Paul II are ranked 67th).

Atlantis' victory bumped their record up to 7-2-5. As for Cape Cod RVT, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5-1.
