With a playoff win on the line, Middlesex rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They never let the Shore Regional Blue Devils get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. Considering the Bluejays have won ten games by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Middlesex has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Shore Regional, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 13-10 record.

Coming up, Middlesex will take on Point Pleasant Beach on Thursday. The Garnet Gulls will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Bluejays surely won't give up without a fight. Shore Regional does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
