Soccer Recap: Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial Takes a Loss

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the McAllen Bulldogs, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, the Wolverines can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 638th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 91st).

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for McAllen, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial will take on Sharyland at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for McAllen, they will square off against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. McAllen is facing Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North at the right time seeing as Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
