Recap: Parkview Christian Patriots vs. Boys Town Cowboys
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Elmwood-Murdock, the Parkview Christian Patriots were happy to have found some success on Monday. They came out on top against Boys Town by a score of 37-25. Parkview Christian pushed the score to 35-12 by the end of the third, a deficit Boys Town cut but never quite recovered from.
Parkview Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Priscila Cabrales, who scored eight points along with five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Merryl Paul, who scored ten points along with five steals.
Parkview Christian's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Boys Town, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.
Parkview Christian won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Brownell Talbot at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Brownell Talbot is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Boys Town, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against College View Academy.
