Softball Recap: Holliday Falls Short of Jim Ned in the Playoffs

Holliday and Jim Ned squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Holliday had to settle for second. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 7-4 to the Indians, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Eagles' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Holliday's loss dropped their record down to 19-11-1. As for Jim Ned, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season.

While Holliday had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
