Texas City scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 72-62 to the Eisenhower Eagles. The Stingarees just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Despite the defeat, Texas City had strong showings from Brandon Fountain, who went 6 of 7 on his way to 15 points, and Lloyd Pete, who went 5 for 12 on his way to 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dominque Groom, who posted 11 points and six rebounds.

Texas City's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Eisenhower, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-10.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Conroe the next time they take the court. Texas City will head out to face Conroe at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Eisenhower will play them later in the day, at 9:00 a.m.
