Softball Recap: Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology can now relate to. They lost 12-2 to the Lake Braddock Bruins on Monday. The Colonials' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Emma Tao made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games she's played. Alana Watkins was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Lake Braddock, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.
