It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Clear Creek ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They skirted past the Front Range Christian Falcons 8-7. For the Golddiggers, this counts as revenge for the 13-0 victory the Falcons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Wyatt Huff was incredible, scoring a run and stealing three bases while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 1.2 stolen bases per game. Ski Hull also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Clear Creek's win ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-3. As for Front Range Christian, they moved to 5-5 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clear Creek will welcome South Park at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Front Range Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Colorado Springs Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
