Basketball Game Preview: Southern Coast Academy Regional Rams vs. Nazaret Christian Academy Lions

The Southern Coast Academy Regional Rams are taking a road trip to square off against the Nazaret Christian Academy Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Southern Coast Academy Regional is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Southeastern Prep Academy just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They were dealt a 94-48 loss at the hands of the Falcons.

Meanwhile, Nazaret Christian Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Hope Academy on Monday and fell 67-65. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 532nd, while the Trojan Tigers are ranked 149th).

Nazaret Christian Academy dropped their record down to 2-7 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.4 points per game. As for Southern Coast Academy Regional, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.
