South Lake's game on Friday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They put the hurt on the Citrus Hurricanes with a sharp 4-1 win. Considering the Eagles' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

South Lake's victory bumped their record up to 5-6-4. As for Citrus, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-7-1 record this season.

South Lake has already played their next game, a 6-2 win against Eustis on the 14th. As for Citrus, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Crystal River on the 14th.
