Baseball Preview: Estero Wildcats vs. Mariner Tritons        
        
		
            
 The Estero Wildcats will square off against the Mariner Tritons at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday. Estero will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
 In what's become a running theme this season, Estero gave their fans yet another huge  win on Friday. They blew past Port Charlotte 10-4. Estero's victory was all the more impressive since Port Charlotte was averaging only 3.28 runs allowed on the season.
  Case Bowman was a standout: he scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4. He is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  stolen  at least one in the last three games he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Justin Trometer, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Mariner fought the good fight in their extra-innings  matchup against Ida Baker  on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell  12-9 to the Bulldogs.
  Brady Jock was a  force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit over 4.1 innings pitched.
 At the plate,  Ryan Kotarski was cooking despite his team's loss,   going 2-for-5 with a  home run, four  RBI,  and a  double. Another player making a difference was  Sam Guth, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-5.
 Estero's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Mariner, their defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 7-10.
 Estero's speedy runners might be the difference in Monday's   contest. Estero has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 4.3  stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Mariner, though, as  they've been averaging  only 1.1. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Estero continue to outrun the ball?
 Everything went Estero's way against Mariner in their previous meeting  back in February as Estero made off with  a  6-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Estero since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
