Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South). They took their matchup on Monday with ease, bagging an 82-40 win over the Marion-Franklin Red Devils. The Bulldogs pushed the score to 66-27 by the end of the third, a deficit the Red Devils had no chance of recovering from.

South can attribute much of their success to John Glover, who posted 20 points. Another player making a difference was Marquan Felts-Lipsey, who scored 13 points.

South's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.7 points per game. As for Marion-Franklin, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season.

South won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against West at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marion-Franklin, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll face off against Independence at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
