Softball Recap: Warren Woods-Tower's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Warren Woods-Tower can bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils, sneaking past 8-7. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Aislinn Lipar made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and four unearned) runs off four hits. Lipar was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and one double.

In other batting news, Gabby Lewis was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Iris Everett was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double.
