Baseball Recap: Lawrence North Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lawrence North can now relate to. They took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Central Panthers on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost four in a row.

Anthony Ludington made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Matthew Cunningham, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Lawrence North now has a losing record of 14-15. As for North Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-9.

As of now, neither Lawrence North nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
