Basketball Recap: Zoe Black and Allison Linke Secure Win for Prospect

Prospect saw some tournament action on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 67-51 win over the Montini Catholic Broncos. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Leading Prospect to victory were Allison Linke and Zoe Black. Linke almost dropped a triple-double on 17 points, ten boards, and nine assists, while Black went 6 of 7 from beyond the arc on her way to 22 points and seven rebounds. The matchup was Linke's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sadie Splinter, who went 5 of 11 on her way to 11 points and six rebounds.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Prospect was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Prospect's record now sits at 12-3. As for Montini Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5.

Prospect will challenge Huntley at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Montini Catholic, they will take on Metamora at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
