Softball Recap: Christian Family Academy Takes a Loss

If Christian Family Academy was feeling good fresh off their 31-6 takedown of Lake Lure Classical Academy back in April, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Fire lost 16-9 to the Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy Crusaders on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Fire in their meetings with the Crusaders: they've now lost four in a row.

Christian Family Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Christian Family Academy nor Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy have any future games scheduled.
