Softball Recap: McCall-Donnelly Comes Up Short

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, McCall-Donnelly was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They came up short against the Cole Valley Christian Chargers, falling 20-2. If the Vandals were looking for revenge after losing 17-8 to the Chargers when the teams met back in April of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

McCall-Donnelly dropped their record down to 1-11 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Cole Valley Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

While McCall-Donnelly had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
